The Whipsnakes traded defensemen Foster Huggins and James Barclay to Chrome in exchange for midfielder Max Tuttle on Tuesday afternoon, April 21.
Tuttle was a rookie in 2019 after graduating from Sacred Heart. He scored five goals and two assists in ten games last season, causing 6 turnovers and collecting 14 ground balls while playing on a crowded midfield depth chart. He will join a Whipsnakes midfield that lost Connor Kelly and Drew Snider to expansion and added TJ Comizio in the Entry Draft.
Barclay dressed for six games last season, including both of the Whipsnakes playoff games, but he did not see much playing time. He finished the season with one caused turnover and one ground ball. Huggins, the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in 2018, did not dress for a single game.
