Ament leaving Penn State, set to join PLL

Penn State attackman Grant Ament announces this morning that he will not be using his extra year of college lacrosse eligibility.

"The NCAA has been extremely gracious and has granted all spring athletes an extra year of eligibility in lieu of the cancellation. But, after talking to my family, I have decided that my time in a Penn State uniform has run its course and I will not be taking the year of eligibility."

Ament, who has spent the past five seasons at Penn State, is one of the top names in April's PLL College Draft.
