2020 PLL Expansion Draft Results

The inaugural PLL Expansion Draft is in the books, and after almost a month-and-a-half as just a team name and a logo, the Waterdogs have their first 18 players for 2020. Head Coach Andy Copelan’s picks are as follows:

3. Brodie Merrill - Defense

4. Charlie Cipriano - Goalie

5. Ben Reeves - Attack

6. Kyle McClancy - Midfield

7. Kieran McArdle - Attack

8. Brian Karalunas - Defense

9. Ben McIntosh - Midfield

10. Drew Snider - Midfield

11. Ryan Drenner - Attack

12. Noah Richard - Defense

13. Steven DeNapoli - Midfield

14. Wes Berg - Attack

15. Chris Sabia - Defense

16. Ryan Conrad - Midfield

17. Dan Eipp - Midfield

18. Drew Simoneau - Faceoff

Copelan made sure to cover every position, selecting four attackmen, eight midfielders, four defenders, one goalie, and one faceoff specialist. After the draft, he called his expansion draft class “versatile, well-balanced, and made up of guys of the highest character.” His next opportunity to continue to build his team will be the 2020 Entry Draft on March 16.

All players that were in the Unprotected Roster Pool and not selected return to their original teams.
